Synching StudioPlus with an iPhone® |
|
To sync your iPhone with StudioPlus, follow these steps to setup the integration:
In StudioPlus, click on Maintenance>User Preferences>Handheld Hot Sync
- Select “Enable Pocket PC Sync”
- Select your preferred sync options such as sending new, modified, and deleted Appointment and Client records to StudioPlus from the handheld. (Note: The iPhone/Outlook integration does not allow To Do records to be synced.)
Next, open your iTunes® software and connect your iPhone to your computer.
In iTunes, click on your device and select the “Info” tab.
In the Info tab in iTunes you can select which information you would like to sync from Outlook.
- You can select the option to sync all of your contacts, or a specific group of contacts.
- Next you can choose to select your Outlook calendar with iTunes and your iPhone. Again, you have the option to select All Calendars, or if you can select a specific Outlook calendar.
Lastly, you can choose to have iTunes replace all Contacts or Calendars on your iPhone with your Outlook Contacts and Calendars. If you select this option, all Contact and/or Calendar information will be replaced with your Outlook Contact and/or Calendar information.
After you have made your selections, click the Apply button in the lower right-hand corner.
The integration between StudioPlus and your iPhone is now complete.
To sync your iPhone:
Connect the iPhone to the computer and select “Sync with Pocket PC” from the File menu in StudioPlus. A two-way synchronization will now be performed with the iPhone using Microsoft Outlook as the conduit.
