Tools and Settings: Data Archive Utility

Watch this video to see how to remove a group of records that you no longer want in your database or reports.

  1. Getting started
    1. Start > Programs > StudioPlus > Utilities > Data Archive Utility
      1. All users logged out of StudioPlus
      2. Database backup
      3. Select database to archive records into or create a new archive database
  2. Select records to be archived
    1. Production orders
      1. Order date
      2. Status
    2. Invoices
      1. Invoice date
      2. Posting date
      3. Invoice status
      4. Invoice with un-posted payments
      5. Invoice with posted payments
    3. Sessions
      1. Session date
      2. Session status
      3. Sessions with un-archived invoices
      4. Sessions with unlinked appointments or phone calls
    4. Clients
      1. Client create date
      2. Client status
      3. Clients in a group
      4. Clients with un-archived sessions, invoices, production orders, or un-posted customer deposits
      5. Clients with unlinked appointments or phone calls
  3. Click "Archive" button to begin
    1. Log of successful records
    2. Log of errors
